Not bad, but the dred is a bit odd. will 3 footslogging expensive marine units survive Guard?? Tau?? Crons??

Could you squeeze in a Drop Pod for the Dred?? I found it a great threat/distraction first turn, to give your forces a chance to move up..... that and it's safe if you go second, with a great chance to pop a gun tank first turn, even if it's in the far corner.

Night Lord kind of says it all. The LR purifiers will probably get where they need to go but against any shooting army, I don't see 4 tanks getting the job done. Some armies could realistically pop all 4 on T1 (mathematically speaking, 4 MLs will pen a Rhino once).

Between tau, guard, necrons and other GK, I just don't see that list getting across the table.

Yeah but realistically? I mean I know what your saying, but its 6 Vehicles, and really the intent is simply to get to midfield, and start unloading shots. There wasnt a list that I saw at Gottacon that could realistically push out enough to threat all of that, only the DE really had a chance, and they cap at STR 8 AP 2, not even melta.

Drive up, run the Venerable behind them, 2 of the smaller squads + purgation drop out and you now have 9 total targets on the table that are actually doing something. I mean its not ZOMG DEATH, but its hard to really fill in the cheese at 1750.
