Orks orks orks orks...the paint!

So, really liking painting these guys so far.

Yellow
Sunset (GW Base)
Sunset / Flash (GW Layer)
Sunset / Flash / Flash

Thats as far as I have taken it so far, will play around with it at the final highlight.

Green
Waaagh Flesh (GW Base)
Warboss (GW Layer)
Warboss / Bone (old GW)
Mud Wash

Seems to work for me so far, and doesnt take that long really since the actual exposed flesh on an Ork is fairly limited.

Truthfully though, cannot wait to see some of the first guys you've got painted.

Those'd be some pretty cool bases. So you do a base, highlight, then wash, then edge highlight? I thought wash would be at the end, but I have noticed that my metals lack depth, perhaps doing the edge highlight last will make it stand out a little better.

At what points do you drybrush style highlight, and what points do you just use a really fine detail brush? I still can't figure out which one works for me best.
